In this role, he brings to bear 20 years of intense executive leadership and management experience. Not only is he an expert in bringing cutting edge web technologies to market, he is the visionary behind our innovative approach to our libraries and lenses and has a deep passion for the global conversation on important religious and spiritual matters.

Murry ensures that the trains run on time at Patheos—advertising banks, sales and marketing systems, site technology, and internal processes. Murry has founded and managed multiple organizations and projects from development of mission, goals and strategic plan through execution and completion. Specialized skills include marketing and sales planning and implementation, budgeting and forecasting, team consensus building, risk management, and integration of technology into organizations.

Cathie is currently the VP of Worldwide Sales and Business Development at Mersive Technologies. Prior to Patheos.com, Cathie was Vice President of Global Channels and Alliances at Vignette Corporation. There she was responsible for developing and executing the alliance and channel sales models to deliver long-term success to this leading web company. Cathie also held the role of Vice President of Sales and Alliances at TeleTech, where she was responsible for the sales and alliance strategies. Before TeleTech, Cathie served as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at USA.NET, a leader in hosted email.

John Kingston, III

Vice Chairman and General Counsel, Affiliated Managers Group, Inc.

John Kingston, III joined AMG in 1999 and currently serves as Vice Chairman and General Counsel; in that capacity, Mr. Kingston is responsible for AMG legal, regulatory, compliance and corporate governance functions, as well as oversight of AMG’s risk management and controls. Prior to joining AMG, Mr. Kingston served as a senior counsel to Miller Anderson & Sherrerd, LLP, a division of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, and was an attorney at Ropes & Gray, focusing on corporate and securities laws issues, with a particular focus on the investment management industry. Mr. Kingston is the founder and Chairman of the Board of the Sword and Spoon Foundation and SixSeeds, Inc., and serves on the boards of Guard Support of Massachusetts, Inc. and The Veritas Forum. Mr. Kingston received a B.S. Econ and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
