A preacher and author, Steven W. Smith writes and presents papers in the area of theology and preaching. He is the author of Dying to Preach, awarded a Preaching Today's book of the year award.
Smith's teaching interest lay in the areas of text-driven preaching, theology and preaching, and preaching genres. Steven is a former pastor, and at one time was a columnist for www.christianity.com, writing in the area of Faith and Culture. Steven also has a passion for international missions and has travelled to over 20 countries for short term mission projects and teaching.
Steven is the Dean of the college, and Professor of Communication, at the College at Southwestern. Steven is married to Ashley and has two daughters, Jewell and Sidney.
