This stunning, large-format collection of over two hundred full-color photographs brings to life the fifty-seven chapels located throughout Notre Dame's campus, many of which are tucked away in little-known settings.

About the Author & Photographer

Lawrence S. Cunningham is the John A. O'Brien Professor of Theology (emeritus) at the University of Notre Dame. He is the author or editor of twenty-five books, including A Brief History of Saints and An Introduction to Catholicism. Best known for his scholarship in the areas of systematic theology, Christian spirituality, and the history of Christianity, Cunningham has won three Catholic Press Association awards for religious writing and has been the "Booknotes" columnist for Commonweal for over ten years.

Matt Cashore is the senior university photographer for the University of Notre Dame. His work has been published in Sports Illustrated, the New York Times, and ESPN The Magazine. His most recent book is Celebrating Notre Dame.
