About the Author
Stephen Taysom is an Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at Cleveland State University. His research interests include the history of religion in America, New Religious Movements, ritual studies, and theory and method in comparative religious studies. His publications include Shakers, Mormons, and Religious Worlds: Conflicting Visions, Contested Boundaries (Indiana University Press, 2010) and Dimensions of Faith: A Mormon Reader (Signature Books, 2011).
