Now that you’ve created your profile account, first thing to do is to personalize your profile. Your profile is what friends and other members will see about you while on Patheos.
You choose what it is you want other members of the Patheos community to see and know about you. You can put a picture of yourself and any other information you're comfortable sharing. Remember: What you say or contribute to any discussion will be more meaningful to people if they know who it is coming from.
The basics:
You can always edit your profile by clicking on the "My Path" link on the top right of any Patheos site’s page.

Next choose the "Profile" tab to access and edit your profile content.

Profile information is what people will see when they decide to view your profile. Start by filling out the info that will help tell people about you: Picture, brief personal description, DOB, and geographic location. You can also use this area to configure: automatic emails, whether or not your profile is public, and how visible your comments and posting are to the public.
Choose your best side!

A profile picture gives your friends the ability to easily relate to you and expresses who you are. It also helps distinguish you from others that may have a common name. When picking a picture to use for your profile, it is recommended that you choose a picture that shows the real you. To get some ideas, you can look at some of your friends’ profile pictures and see what worked for them.
You can always update your picture, and all of your other profile information whenever you like, so there is never a worry of having outdated information on your profile.
