Depending on how you configure your blog, the Patheos community will have the ability to leave comments and even recommend your posts to others.
Configuring your blog and posting
You can access your blog from your homepage once you login by clicking on the "BLOG" tab.

Once there, you can set up your blog with a title, a description and even an image by using the form.

Other settings include the ability to choose how many entries are displayed at a time, whether you want to allow readers to post comments to your blog and if so, do you want the ability to approve posts prior to displaying them.
From with your blog, you can always choose the "Write New Post" to create a new post for all to see. Giving your post a meaningful title will help others find your post if they use a search. You can also aid the search process by entering in keywords for your post in the "tag" field.
Once you are done writing your post, you can either save a draft for later editing and review or publish it to the public by using the buttons at the bottom of the form.

You can ALWAYS view and edit or delete your published and draft posts by selecting the "View/Edit Posts" from within your blog area.

Reviewing and recommending other blogs
The real power of blogging also comes from the ability to review, comment and recommend other's blog posts. Many posts are targeted at healthy and enriching explorations of thought.
To easily access the general blog area, choose the "ENGAGE" link and then the "Blogs" tag on the main menu bar at the top of the screen.

You will readily see a list of featured blogs in the Patheos community. Simply click the "Go to the Blog" link and click a post's title to start reading!

If you find a post on another blog interesting, you can give your comment or opinion by using the "Add a comment" text area directly below the post.

You can also use the icons to recommend the post to others, add a post and its responses to your profile's "watch list" and even email the post to someone you know that may not be a member of Patheos.
The most recommended posts appear in the "Recommended Discussions" block of the Public Square section of Patheos.com.
