A. David Lewis is the creator of The Lone and Level Sands and Some New Kind of Slaughter graphic novels from Archaia Entertainment. He holds a Ph.D. in Religion and Literature and has been featured in The Boston Globe, Publishers Weekly Comics Week, Bostonia and on WAMU's "Interfaith Voices," VH-1, and Boston's NPR affiliate WBUR. Lewis is also the co-editor of Graven Images: Religion in Comic Books and Graphic Novels and an Editorial Board Member for The International Journal of Comic Art (IJOCA). Miriam Libicki was born in Columbus, Ohio. After living in Jerusalem and Seattle, Washington, she is now based in Vancouver, BC. She completed her Bachelor's of Fine Arts from Emily Carr University in 2006, where she currently teaches classes on graphic memoir and comics history. She is the creator of the comic series, Jobnik!, and the drawn essays Towards a Hot Jew, ceasefire, fierce ease, Jewish Memoir Goes Pow! Zap! Oy!
