Frequently Asked Questions

Are all Pagans Witches?

The term "Paganism" encompasses a wide variety of religions; Wiccans, Druids, Discordians, Goddess worshippers, and Odinists are some of the many groups that are often considered "Pagan." Not all of these groups consider themselves witches, however. In general, the term "witchcraft" tends to be most closely associated with Wicca, a Pagan path that was created (some say "discovered") by Gerald Gardner in the early 1950s.
