The Patheos Public Square is produced in partnership with an emerging national collaboration called the Progressive Christian Initiative. The PCI collaborators are notable congregations, organizations, and networks that contribute in some way to the progressive Christian conversation and that seek to amplify a progressive Christian voice in public life.

Initial PCI participants (the collaboration is expanding) include the D.L. Dykes Jr. Foundation, The Beatitudes Society, the Community Renewal Society/Protestants for the Common Good in Chicago, the First Congregational Church of Berkeley, Judson Memorial Church in New York City, the Plymouth Center for Progressive Christian Faith and Plymouth Congregational Church in Minneapolis, Progressive Christians Uniting in Los Angeles, and the Middle Collegiate Church/Middle Project in New York City.

The Beatitudes Society

The D. L. Dykes, Jr. Foundation promotes critical thinking about historical and traditional Christianity and its origins within first century Judaism. It seeks to empower people to recognize economic, political and social injustices and to be creators of social change. Through FaithandReason® public seminars and products that feature innovative and progressive scholars, authors and lecturers who explore historical and contemporary topics that invite individuals to address social and economic injustices. Judson Memorial Church

Community Renewal Society is a progressive, faith-based organization that works to eliminate race and class barriers. Founded in 1882, Community Renewal informs, organizes and trains both communities and individuals to advocate for social and economic justice. To achieve our goal of a region that is free of race and class barriers, we:
