N. T. Wright is the Bishop of Durham in England, one of the world's foremost New Testament scholars, and the author of such works as The Resurrection of the Son of God, Simply Christian, and Surprised by Hope.  In this interview from 100 Huntley Street, N. T. Wright discusses what differentiates the messianic story of Jesus -- and his resurrection -- from other messianic movements of ancient Palestine.

This, of course, is a very brief part of an argument Wright develops in far greater and more scholarly detail in The Resurrection of the Son of God.  Find more information regarding Wright's argument here, and his recent book on The Challenge of Easter, available from InterVarsity Press.
