October 2013 Overview
A Fork in the Road
Capricorn October Horoscope
by Jeff Jawer
Your drive to succeed professionally is in high gear this month with the strategic Libra Sun moving through your 10th House of Career until October 23. However, instability on the home front is likely to distract you from your work because of noisy aspects to uncontainable Uranus as it journeys through your 4th House of Foundations.
The Sun's opposition to untamable Uranus on October 3 increases your restlessness, tempting you to walk away from a domestic conflict or surprising you with radical behavior from a family member. Although the Uranus-Pluto square -- the fourth in a series that started in 2012 and lasts through 2015 -- occurs on November 1, you can feel the pressure between your inner and outer worlds intensify throughout October.
The shocking Uranus-Pluto square is reactivated on October 4 by the Libra New Moon in your 10th house, forcing you to choose between your public responsibilities and personal issues that require your undivided attention.
On the one hand, you recognize that the direction of your life has already begun to shift in profound ways. On the other, conservative Saturn's uneasy quincunx to progressive Uranus on October 5 heightens your resistance to change.
Venus shifts into inspirational Sagittarius on October 7 and Mars moves into your 9th House of Adventure on October 15, encouraging you to look ahead rather than hold on to the past. The speedy Aries Lunar Eclipse on October 18 fires up your 4th House of Family, leading you to believe that you can quickly patch up a wounded relationship, but Mercury's retrograde turn on October 21 indicates that it will take longer to solve the current crisis. —Tarot.comPREVIOUS MONTHNEXT MONTH

Ascension, or sometimes called the Shift, seems to be a buzz word that isn’t just circulating around yoga classes, meditation circles or trendy coffee houses. It’s expanded from the spiritual gurus into mainstream society. Both terms are often misunderstood and considered new-agey and woo-woo when, in reality, ascension is merely a fancy word for change. We all have intuition. Every single one of us. It doesn’t mean that you have to hang up a flashy ‘Psychic’ sign on your office door, but you can if you want. Intuition comes from within us, around us and from past experiences. It is supposed to teach us what to do and where to [Read More...]
(The following is a portion of a lecture channeled by Paul Selig in Boulder, Colorado in December, 2013) The environment you stand in is simply a reflection of how you know yourself.
