Does God Really Talk to Us?
Your best friend calls to say she's decided to quit her job. You ask if she has a plan. She says no, but that God is telling her she needs to do something else with her life.
Does God Really Talk to Us? If so, how? Through nature? Scripture? Dreams? Other people? As a human-like voice? How does God communicate with us?
What do you really believe?
I've had a few "thin places" experiences where the veil between heaven and earth becomes so porous that all the limitations of language becomes obvious; there are no words to adequately describe what it is like to sense God's presence.
I feel G-d's presence in the serendipitous moments, when things happen at just the right time and/or place.
God certainly speaks to us at all times, but do we listen?
I know that God has spoken to me. The real question is, But have I been listening?
"Messages" from the Gods are in our own words and understanding, a metaphor for what we've been shown.
I don't ask if God is speaking. I ask if there can be any place void of God's sacred song.
We can hear God's voice better as we become men and women who delight in God's will.
The Gods are speaking to us, but are we paying attention?
He's too big and too infinite for us to take Him all in at once so He gives us Himself in ways we can receive and comprehend Him.
For me prayer is not a battle cry; rather it is a call to my higher self.
