Raymond Zwerin is the founding rabbi of the Temple Sinai in Denver, Colo. He is the author or co-author of several books on the Jewish faith. He is a member of The Rose Foundation's Jewish Life Committee, vice president of Centus Counseling, Consulting and Education, a board member of the Herzl/RMHA Jewish Day School, an instructor of Osher Life Long Institute at the University of Denver, and an instructor of Melton Graduate courses.

Rabbi Zwerin's accomplishments include: an A.B. in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, MAHL; Ordained Rabbi, 1964, Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel Graduate studies, 1960-1961, and H.U.C.-J.I.R., Doctor of Divinity, 1989.

Rabbi Zwerin is the author the statement on the Jewish attitude on abortion distributed nationally by the National Religious Coalition on Abortion Rights. He lives in Denver, Colo., with his wife Rikki. They have two married children and four grandchildren.
