4 Rules for Life

  • Stay In The Middle: The Middle Road or Middle Way is a Buddhist term rich in connotations that imply a balanced approach to life by regulating your impulsive behaviors or learned ideas which may be unconscious opinions from others.  Ancient Greek philosopher and scientist  Aristotle’s idea of the  middle is the “golden mean” whereby “every virtue is a mean between two extremes, each of which is a vice.”

The middle of the road should not be confused with passivity or a kind of compromise because to remain in the middle in order to understand and reach out to opposing sides is an ongoing effort.  It is common ground with the vantage point of reaching both sides to lean and share ideas.  The right side and the left side can be limiting and extreme.  By taking a stand in the center you position yourself with love and understanding.

  • Dream: Your dreams are pathways to Inner-guidance. Learn your individual dream language by keeping a dream journal. Adjust to the new way important information is shared with you in dreams. ? If embracing dreams is a new experience for you keep an open mind about them. stay in the middle of the road of all the information you may research.

Do you pray for guidance?  Perhaps the answers to your prayers are in your dreams.  Watch for  validation.  Did you have a Deja’vu or did your dream come true?  Deja’vu comes from the French word “already seen”. It is the phenomenon of having the strong sensation that an event or experience currently being experienced has been experienced in the past.

Adjust to the information received through your dreams, prayers and meditations because it may keep you on the road to your life-purpose for the fulfillment of your destiny.

We are all here for a reason. There are no accidents, only accidently on purposes.  Even if your parents say you “just happened” in the back seat of that old Ford, you were planned and given a purpose by your Higher Power.  The Ford was just an opportunity.  Play with that thought because our dreams are also the playground of the mind.

Give yourself time to play through daydreams. Successful multi-million dollar corporations now require their employees to daydream 20% of their working day because dreams hold the answers to complex questions.  How often have you thrown up your hands in frustration only to get the answer to the challenge in a daydream a few moments later?  Your daydream lightbulb turned on.

These four rules for a fulfilled life are guidelines. Adjust them to your needs. Implement them into your daily life and watch your dreams for the future manifest.
