Jack Hayford on Jesus Washing His Disciples Feet – "One Moment In Time"

Jack Hayford visited Jubilee Church London to preach over the summer. He spoke from John 13, and so I thought I would share it with you here. Most poeple think verse 34 “love one another as I have loved you” is referring to Jesus death. But Jack here argues that surely it is more practically referring to this act of service. Jesus here laid aside symbols of prestige, position and status to serve. In the same way we ought to serve others in his Kingdom. We are called to tenderly care for each other, mindful of the challenges the journey each has worked leaves clinging to them. Jack is a fatherly preacher and it is well worth watching this sermon, which will inspire you to serve God’s people.
