Preaching the simple gospel is not as easy as it looks. I think that what Spurgeon says below is true to a greater or lesser degree of all preachers used significantly by God. The simple gospel changes us

One thing that I hope I have made clear enough is that although God saves us entirely as a result of grace and not because of anything we have done, because it is hime that has changed us on the inside, we should expect such a work to have an impact in lives for the good.
