My top 50 most popular blog posts

This will be the last blog post of the year, and as a permanent record, I wanted to share the top 50 posts on the blog at the moment.  This is ranked by number of visits since moving here to Patheos. You will see that many of these are recent posts, and 2013 has certainly seen some interesting subjects. There are some older posts that have enduring popularity, however.  In fact, there are many more posts that get a few readers every day.  It is always a good idea if you are interested in what … [Read more...]

My review of the year: 2013

What a year this has been.  For me personally there were some quite challenging months while Andrée was working full time. This involved me in needing to do a lot more to help around the house than usual. But it did mean that I learnt to appreciate her even more than I already did.  I am very glad that she has now decided to focus her attention full-time on the family. Five children, a dog, and me is more than enough.  We all missed her way too much! I am thankful for her as she works so hard for … [Read more...]

I did interrupt my break to post the following two posts, making January officially the lightest month for blogging new material I had ever had:My "Christianity Today" News DebutBlog Tour - Day 4: Tim Challies Answers Questions Concerning DiscernmentIn February I continued my … [Read more...]

This post will consider personal matters, family matters, and my church. The year began with my regular tradition of putting the blog onto autopilot to give me time to reflect, pray, and recuperate. I have a tendency to end the year feeling exhausted and drained, and find the discipline of switching off my blog after the holiday period gives me a real lift. This … [Read more...]
