As Good As You Allow

The headlines scream of job losses, mud slinging, high gas costs, high food costs and low country morale. What a downer, to say the least. We are inundated with being told over and over that we can’t

succeed and from human resources perspective, any sort of negativity hinders morale. So what is the media doing to us (or government or whoever you want to blame)? Bubbles are bursting everywhere, but only if we allow it to happen. Human beings think over 60,000 thoughts per day and 85% of those thoughts are negative. We are being hypnotized by listening (and reading) all of this negative crud and by doing so only more negative will follow. What you focus on expands. Your thoughts become THINGS. Cognitive scientists and neuron-psychologists know that the brain actually changes as a result of where a person focuses his thinking. Negative habits create more negativity and positive thoughts create happier feelings which lead to a healthier and a successful life.

The past few years a large percentage of my clients have looked like zombies. No offense if you were a past client. What I mean by that is the spark has left their energy and it has been nothing but routine, without any passion for anything but making it through yet another day. I get excuses. Oh, I hear a lot of excuses – anything from I have children to I don’t have enough money to I can’t make a job change now. Many of the excuses are valid, but if you use that as a roadblock then you just clearly will not find a detour because you will continue to roadblock your life with excuses.

Money is simply a number in your bank account. Think of how money makes you feel. Typically that ‘M’ word makes people’s stomach churn and worry creep in as they think ‘I don’t have enough’. Our thoughts are things, remember? That frustration will only create more negative thoughts, which will create more negative things. Not good.

Are you happy? Are you passionate about anything? Have you set goals in your life?

One of the biggest questions that I get is ‘What is my life purpose?’ and almost each and every time I answer that back with ‘What are you passionate about?’ Many people look at me with that deer caught in the headlights look. So you are passionate about dogs, start a dog-walking company. You are passionate about medicine, become a doctor or pharmaceutical tech or simply start applying at doctor offices. You are passionate about books and writing, write a book. Really, it is THAT easy. Don’t worry about what others think or feel about it, or even HOW it will happen, instead start creating your life, creating your reality and do it for YOU. And most of all (are you ready for this?), don’t worry about the money. I know, I know, I felt your heart flutter. By being passionate and following through with that passion, you are being true to yourself. Without it, you might as well get used to your zombie ways. I sound harsh, I know, but I am all about the truth.

Center your being and calm yourself in whatever way is appropriate for you. Take some deep cleansing breaths, slip in a meditation CD to listen to, sip on a cup of relaxing herbal tea. Get a notebook out and write down your passions. Write down why it is your passion. How it makes you feel. Life is supposed to be FUN. Being a zombie isn’t fun unless you are dressing up for a Halloween party. It is time for you to find you again and to blossom into the beautiful you that I believe you are.bout the money. I know, I know, I felt your heart flutter. By being passionate and following through with that passion, you are being true to yourself. Without it, you might as well get used to your zombie ways. I sound harsh, I know, but I am all about the truth.

My Life Is As Good As I Allow it to Be. . .

Many people focus upon unwanted things, with no deliberate attention to the emotional Guidance within them, and then they try to compensate for their lackful thinking with physical action. And because of the misalignment of Energy, they do not get results from their action, so then they try harder by offering more action, but still things do not improve.

Like the air you breathe, abundance in all things is available to you. Your life will simply be as good as you allow it to be.
