Maha Elgenaidi

The Executive Director of the Islamic Networks Group, Maha Elgenaidi is actively engaged in increasing religious literacy about Islam in the public square. She recently shared,

I am hopeful that Trump’s election provides an opportunity to develop a greater understanding of one another, beyond the caricatures and the sound bites we’ve been assaulted with throughout the campaign. Knowing our neighbors and developing a deeper understanding in one another reveals our common humanity.

Like so many other Muslims, the presidential election results only strengthened Maha’s commitment to service,

We are rededicating ourselves to the important and continuing work of supporting the interfaith community, schools, universities and public institutions such as law enforcement agencies in religious literacy work and engagement. We are also here to support our Muslim youth and parents in bullying prevention and challenging bigotry in all its forms.
