Japan’s Fukushima Disaster and Its Impact on Fish in the Pacific Northwest

For the most part, those of us that love wild seafoods from the Pacific Northwest don’t have to worry — at least, not about radiation from the Fukushima nuclear reactor. Sadly, it is Japan that suffers the most from Fukushima’s meltdown. As I give thanks to the Great Salmon for their life-giving abundance, I offer up prayers for the people and land of Japan.
