AskAngus16: Tardy, Sticky Ghosts

Bending the fourth dimension to fashion an artificially long day will only create a well along the time space continuum, and in no time (ha – sorry) a starship from some Star Trek spin-off series will appear in orbit. [Read more…]

AskAngus14: The Invisible Broom Closet

Church, to a Witch, is whenever you step outside in the morning. Church is when Mother Moon rises. Church is when you take a strange way home from work one day and later learn there was a car accident on the main path. Church is when you wake up crying tears of joy over a beautiful dream that showed you the way through a problem. Church is feeling the sublime stillness at the moment of the Summer Solstice and knowing exactly where you are on the Wheel of the Year. [Read more…]

AskAngus13: Sad on the sidelines

Flailing in Sunnyvale: I’m a Pagan with no musical talent and no rhythm. I have a horrible singing voice, can’t keep a beat, and I’m a terrible dancer. At large group ritual there’s often no place for the musically challenged, and I’m not sure how to bow out of the singing and/or dancing without offending people. What should I do?

AskAngus: Why I am a Pagan (in EXACTLY 200 words)

The challenge from Patheos: Explain your faith in 200 words or less. Well, first off, it’s not a Faith; it’s a Practice……but, Challenge: Accepted! Except, these words here don’t count towards the total. This is just the prologue; the explanation; the set-up. The real words, the countdown clock – the deadline! Start…..right……now: [Read more…]

AskAngus8: Red State, Blue State, where can I congregate?

The blackjack dealer dealt the first hand and when she got to my cards she looked at me sideways (like a dog who doesn’t understand the lyrics), and then she spoke directly into my mind, asking me if I was a Witch. [Read more…]
