    You are right..Iam listening his composition “The Ruby and the Pearl” from youtube. The same “spirit” as Getz. I have also had his album but forget the title but it’s the classiz jazz album same as his brother Wynton did.

    I have this box set of CD’s – “People Time.” Solid jazz with compositions from some of the best, Haden, Gillespie, Thad Jones, Benny Carter and Benny Golson who wrote the amazing “I Remember Clifford.” Maybe not the best of Getz overall because he was so sick during the March 91 performances … died in June. But this song, Haden’s “First Song,” is the best of Getz.
