    Just realized that Bilbo is played by the same actor who portrays Watson in the BBC’s current Sherlock series. Good choice!

    Also “Tim” (Jim) on the original UK “The Office” and “Arthur” on the “hitchhikers guide to the galaxy” film.

    Also, I just noticed the 2nd Hobbit film’s title: The desolation of Smaug. Great! I like it.

    Having visited the Hobbiton site in New Zealand in 2004 it is great to see the village reconstructed with the idea to have it remain for the tourist trade.
