A Few Thoughts about Rick Santorum Suspending His Campaign

Just now, Rick Santorum suspended his Presidential campaign, after a weekend at the hospital with his three year old daughter Bella. As you probably are aware, Bella was born with Trisomy 18 — a genetic disorder similar to Down syndrome that’s caused her short life to be an ongoing battle.

No matter who you support for President in 2012, you have to admire how Sen. Santorum champions life – he fights for it in Washington and he fights for it in his own home, day after day.

As he suspends his 309 day campaign, let’s honor his pro-life conviction by watching this touching campaign video. No, he doesn’t have a campaign anymore, but we’ll never stop the fight for life.

You are a smart girl, Bristol! The Santorums have brought lots of love to the table. I think he showed lots of that in his speeches. We must pull together now and get Obama out of the White House.

Thank you Bristol for sharing this . May God Bless The Santorums and their children. He is a stand up kind of guy.

The best candidate for president out of the 4 left has just given the nod to Romney. Let’s forget the campaign talk and stand behind Romney. We have to defeat Obama the worst president ever. He is bent on destroying America any way he can. Just read his book “Dreams of my father” how he plans on taking America down. He has told you–open your eyes. Defeat Obama is the highest priority ever in our history for the sake of our children and grandchildren. May God bless Rick Santorum, his family and especially little Bella on her struggle for her life. The dirt farmer from SE MO

Good thoughts Bristol. Thanks for this post. He is a champion for life whatever else we may disagree with.

Also, I think we can say that all of the candidates who have come to the GOP this Election cycle are strong advocates for Life. Whoever wins… let’s salute them all for that commitment.

Thank you Bristol it hurts to see a child with something like that. I pray the Lord well heal her. All Republicans must stop fighting and get togather to beat Obama. Keep the news comeing. God bless.

That was an incredibly beautiful, and moving video! My eye makeup is reaching my chin right now, but, Rick’s story deserves tears. Tears for the unconditional love he tenderly expresses for his precious little girl, the courage to defend those who are considered by some to be “IMPERFECT”, ABNORMAL”, DISABLED”, USELESS EATERS” and an “ECONOMIC BURDEN” to ‘the system”, tears for the millions of unborn babies who never got to share the gift of who GOD purposed them to be……. and tears for those who believe they have the right to decide who has worth and who doesn’t. Rick Santorum is correct…………………………….these precious children are not the ones who are disabled. WE are…….and I applaud him for possessing the humility and heart to reverence the GOD OF ALL CREATION and the sanctity of life.

Bristol, you have a heart of gold. Your post on Rick Santorum shows much love and compassion for he and his wonderful family. I so wish he would stay in this most important presidential election, for this country needs a man of God, hoping we can once again please our Father in heaven as we did when He gave us this beautiful land. When our founding fathers were drafting the Constitution, without God guiding them, we would fall into the hands of the Adversary’s hands. Over 200 plus years, with many leaders ignoring what was written, also ignoring The Ten Commandments, I see where we’re headed, and it’s not the right path. Rick’s morals, his love for our Creator, as well as love for all Americans, he was my choice, yet those who don’t know Jesus wanted nothing to do with his relationship with the Lord. Sad, but true. They choose to not believe, to which we must keep them lifted up in prayer. As with Rick, his wonderful family, especially Miss Bella. What an Angel indeed. Now, we MUST get behind Romney, keeping him lifted in prayer, that he see’s the Light in it’s true form, for we HAVE to remove Obama, for another 4 years of his radical, wrong thinking, Socialist ways are not America’s way. Keep praying America. Psalms 109:8. Obama MUST BE REMOVED! God bless you Rick, your family, and you Bristol, and your blessed family! Jesus loves us all!! AMEN

I am sorry that he has departed but family must come first. Romney makes me nervous. I have studied and worked in politics in several countries and when I look at him there is for me, something that doesnt click. I feel that things will get real nasty from here on in but the key issue is to get the current incumbent out, he is not going to change his ways. Bless you Bristol and your family.

Bristol, Thank You so much for sharing this video with us. I am in complete admiration of Mr. Santorum and his family. They truly would have been a welcome site to Washington DC. I pray God will continue to bless him and his family along with you and yours.

Rick Santorum’s daughter is so beautiful. She is a child of God, a special child and the Good Lord knew who he could trust her with when he gave her to the Santorum family. May God bless them all!!!!!!
