For My Facebook Friends Who Hate Twitter

Some of my long term Facebook friends are worried I’m going to forget them now that my blog is on Twitter.  Not at all!

In fact, I wanted to share this nice Tweet with my Facebook fans who are not on Twitter and will not ever be on Twitter – even for me!

Remember when I wrote about the nice words Louis Van Amstel had about me?

Well, @BristolsBlog tweeted that you don’t have to agree on political issues to be friends and he wrote back this nice tweet!

(I’m posting here for you non-Twitter fans!  If you change your mind, you know where I am!)

Do you want to be a part of my DWTS journey? Then, e-mail me so I can add you to my mailing list.  (My address is BristolsBlog @ gmail.com, without the space! Make sure to use the subject line: DWTS.) I’d love to give you the latest up-to-the-minute reports about the show!

Also, follow me on Facebook and this blog on Twitter!

  • Dana Gilson

Love the show and love you guys. Take care and God Bless.

  • Kim Castro

Can’t wait until DWTS begins! Also love your dad’s awesome progression on SES!!

For people who say they hate Twitter, I tell them they’re doing it wrong. If you use Twitter, you have control over who you follow and who follows you. If you don’t want tweets from some tweeps sent to your cell phone, it’s easy to make sure that doesn’t happen. As a Twitter user, no one forces you to even visit your Twitter Time Line.

Over a period of time, I have developed my list of followers who consistent;y are good tweeters and retweeters. If someone starts tweeting stuff I don’t like, I un-follow them. If I don’t like someone’s reteets, I can set it up so that I don’t see their retweets. I depend on Twitter to help me stay abreast of what interests me.

Twitter is a good communications tool. It’s up to you as to how you want to use it. If you “hate it”, it’s your own fault. If you simply think you don’t need it, that’s OK.

I’m not on facebook or twitter and have no intention of ever being so. I will continue to read Bristol’s blog for which I receive emails. I don’t understand how people have time to do all those other social media things. Don’t they have a life? But then I’m too dumb for a smart phone.

    Oops! Todd Akin. Sorry Troy!

I read that tweet when Louis tweeted it. Bristol, you and Louis are showing exactly how tolerance works. Thank you both! Very gracious people, both of you.

Hypocrisy, they name is Sarah Palin

Watch Sarah Palin condemn Biden for his “in chains” remark then one week later use the same remark herself and say Obama is putting children in chains. Sometimes I’n not sure she even hears herself.

Unbelievable. I’m sure the right will be equally “outraged” for her comments :)

    • Bower

I know James. She is just so ridiculous.

      • Bower

        And crickets……
