Gross!

On National Review, Colette Moran writes about a terrible development.  Apparently, there is a group of guys who believe it’s okay to trick girls into having abortions after they’ve accidentally impregnated them.  They even have a website:

Post after post about how to get laid, misogynistic evaluations of women, and advice on how to escape the consequences of bad behavior, most notably, unintended fatherhood. An article last month pointed out that Oregon is the best state to have sex in because it has the most liberal abortion laws. But a couple days ago there was the most loathsome piece of writing yet, “How to Convince a Girl to Get an Abortion.”

It’s worse than you think. It’s not just trying to make the case why it would be okay, and simply steering a young woman to ignore the reasons why she knows it’s not in her best interests — or her child’s — to abort. No, the author encourages bald-faced lying and ruthlessness – whatever it takes to trick her into doing the deed.

It recommends three abhorrent approaches: Convincing her it will ruin the future he sees having with her (but then dumping her as soon as she aborts); being a big jerk and insisting that she will either get nothing but court-ordered child-support later or a ride to the clinic and money for the procedure right now (as you grab car keys and glare at her); or simply lying and telling her you have a genetic disorder the child will likely inherit.

I’m sure you won’t hear any feminists calling these jerks out on this.  When it comes to so-called “pro-women” liberals, they’ll bow to stupid, mean, lying men just to keep their abortion dreams alive.

It’s gross.

I think the piece is actually satire. It’s gotta be, right?? o_x

  • Kristy Patullo

I really hope that this is not true. It’s just unfathomable.

  • Cassie R Alexander

i think it very wrong to abort your baby its human being i go for prolife

Any feminist would condemn this website (which I’d never heard of before), in a heartbeat. It is extremely anti-woman and anti-feminism. And liberals may not like that they listed Sandra Fluke on their 9 ugliest feminists list (What, they couldn’t come up with 10?), calling her “Obama’s useful idiot”. Why Bristol and Ms. Moran would give this website/article the time of day, and call it a “terrible development” is beyond me. The fact that there are men who try to trick women into having abortions is not new. (There are also women who lie to their partner about being on birth control in order to get pregnant.) There are tons of loathsome websites on the internet; this is one of them. It also operates at a loss and solicits donations, so I guess that says something about its lack of popularity. I also think most women are smart enough not to fall for the tricks recommended in the article.
So, let’s not make this about ” ‘pro-woman’ liberals” vs conservatives, b/c I think they both would denounce this website. In fact, when the Southern Poverty Law Center listed Roosh Vorek, who runs the site, on its Misogyny Report, both reason.com and National Review mocked the choice: http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/293098/what-s-after-jumping-shark-mark-krikorian
But I do agree with Bristol on this- It’s gross!

    • Lindsay

When I skimmed the article I found myself thinking, “some people are just to stupid to bother responding to”.

    • tu_ne_cede_malis

Even if Bristol Palin is right, she should lay low and dip out of the public eye to repair her life. If she thinks sex before marriage and having babies out of wedlock is wrong, she ought to feel shame and try to right her life rather than occupy some type of moral high ground with this blog. Some moral high ground, haha. She is more like the shiniest turd at the dog park.

      • 1MiddleRoader

I disagree. Bristol’s life isn’t in disrepair. She admits she made a mistake, made the choice to have her baby, and she appears to be trying to right her life. She’s a private citizen and has every right to have a blog. Just as I have every right to disagree with some of her posts.

        • Mike

I disagree with your coy bs. Tripp isn’t a mistake you are sorely mistaken. You are so full of it claiming to be middleroad. You haven’t said a single thing positive except to draw in and trap a reader into thinking you aren’t a troll (like with that nick, hypocrite). Let’s review your positive – negative last post, nazi:

“I disagree. Bristol’s life isn’t in disrepair. She admits she made a mistake, made the choice to have her baby, and she appears to be trying to right her life”

You filthy animal suggesting anyone suggested Bristol’s life is in disrepair. The only mistake her husband made through permanent beatings was thinking I would ever be given have a chance while the (typical) Obama administration is making money the worst most ungodly nazi fashion. You are not at all agreeing with anyone here implying Bristol made a mistake to have her baby quite coyly. Tripp in himself has done nothing but bring joy to Bristol. And I’d just assume read Mein Kempt than anymore of the post. But I would gladly set it on fire and shove it up your ass.

          • 1MiddleRoader

I don’t know why I’m bothering to reply as you are clearly either drunk or deranged. First, I was replying to a previous post which said Bristol should stay out of the public eye and “repair her life. ” Second, Bristol herself says she made a mistake having sex outside of marriage. (She wrote a post on this blog called “How I Got over my Very Public Mistakes”). I neither said (nor coyly implied) that Bristol made a mistake having Tripp.
            Get sober or get help.

          • Mike

Hey don’t worry about it. I didn’t need to hear what you said after your sick nazi tactic of suddenly being a certified quack came to light it was clear to me that suggesting the lives of children (even Bristol’s) was on the table you, sir, are out of your element. Since, as I said, you wouldn’t consider my opinion worthy of nothing but jailtime (fascist) I honestly told you that is bullshit. In fact Reagan’s greatest moment was him standing for the people against nazi medical confinement and against the medical companies for those who committed no crime (yet he was shot over it). His worst moment putting H W on his ticket the leader of the cia during the creation of mk-ultra and likewise putting the worst of the cia back in the whitehouse. So unlicensed phonies like you can point your finger and suggest and accuse me who commited no crime that I need to be commited.

          • 1MiddleRoader

Good grief, I hold Obama to a higher standard than Palin, or myself, b/c he is the President!!! Anything she or I say will not start a war, or cause a country to withdraw an Ambassador or whatever. I think it’s clear that I am not a Palin fan, true or otherwise. I disagree with many of Sarah and Bristol’s views, but I do not hate them. I have never attacked them on a personal level.

          • Richard Smit

It doesnt matter if he is President. Sarah palin deserves a lot more respect than Obama!!! and you yes you have attacked Bristol on a personal level in some of your comments!! and you do hate them!! you have said very hateful things about Sarah palin!

          • 1MiddleRoader

Well, if disagreeing with Palin on anything is evil and heartless, as you say below, then yes. But in the real world, no.

          • Richard Smit

Its evil and heartless! because Sarah Palin is a perfect person and people shouldnt be allowed to be disagree with her!

Bristol is right she is always right!

      • Mike

You said what? Fuck you and your agenda. Stop pretending you know who Bristol Palin is because “you saw her on tv”. I will be forced to “vote on the person” in a presidential election given the limited choices we have. But I am not at allowing anyone to decide for me what I swallow either directed at Tom below. That is the problem “we decided” when I had no say in the matter and what I had wanted or needed and intended was lost in the beurocracy. I would much rather have the children put on the chopping block after they were born (like I was, excuse me like “I decided”). The blue and the red pill are poisonous and aren’t at all bipartisan. Not to suggest at all I wouldn’t mind a woman president. But vice president? Apparently is only to take the heat so a president can fulfill his agenda. I am tired of hearing about “Cheney” as if his kids were allowed to make their own decisions. Reagan was TOUGH and that is great but he made the mistake of putting HW on his ticket, creator of MKULTRA. That means he is up the CIA’s butt and a far cry from republican or liberty for that matter. The snakes in the whitehouse doesn’t at all mean the president who is just a puppet like JFK who was shot alone without a viable SS. Or Reagan shot conveniently why HW was in flight wondering if he was president. Fuck him and that. That is not republican. Go ahead and try to vote the piece of shit in again.

  • Mike

Yes Bristol thanks for sharing. Now social networking terrorism is not just done in the jails, courts, and secret society’s, but in churches, schools, and online. If we could find more, more willing to teach to do the right thing than we have these selfish sick and hateful we could even the odds. God bless you.

    Matthew 7:13-14 KJV
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

    Matthew 23:13 KJV
But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves , neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

    Romans 1:32 KJV
Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

As long as women are dumb enough to believe
“I’ll still love you in the morning” , they’ll always cave in to the moment forgetting their birth control. I really don’t believe any man can talk a woman into an abortion if she’s against it. Trying to convince the world women are weak willed and weak minded in this day and age doesn’t cut it any more. We’ve had our “freedom” since the 60′s, when birth control was widely available, and even 5th graders are aware of sex. To think “he made me do it” is just another way to NOT take blame for their own actions. Men do NOT get pregnant, men are shouted down and forbidden to have a say in if baby is birthed or not. It’s 100% a woman’s decision on who gets born, and except for rape, it’s 100% her decision on getting pregnant! A woman knows her heart and may get tricked into pregnancy, but it was still her choice in having unprotected sex, and her choice and hers alone on the results.

    • Columba Lisa Smith

This is a little over-simplified. All women are not the same. Some can be pressured into aborting, especially if they have no support to keep their baby. They may be codependent, abused, feeling powerless, etc. Others are selfish, and will kill their child and carry on as if nothing happened, despite the wishes of the father.
All men aren’t the same, either. Some are completely selfish and could not care less about the life of their unborn child. Others are devastated, as you say, by having no legal recourse to protect their children from being killed by abortion. It’s very unfair for those men, and that makes me really angry.
All around, feminism has made a horrible mess of our society. I don’t think there’s an “ism” I hate more than feminism.

      • lois

True we can’t just use a broad brush and paint all, there will always be the selfish and the timid. The sad part is no matter how many dollars we pour into sex education, we will always have a “breeding” problem, as it’s the scared cow not to be talked about or judged, so it’s become a birth it or dispose of it solution all done on an emotional level to what suits the woman at that moment. I was against abortion till I saw how many abused, abandon, and dead children suffer under “Mommy’s care”. Having a baby does NOT make a mother, our jails are filled with these type women, and men too, making me think abortion could save a wee one from years of terror and torture.

        • Richard Smit

so you are saying her that Bristol should have aborted her child? you are not a true Sarah Palin supporter at all to me! Sarah palin does not support killing of unborn childeren like you do!

    • Mike

      Wow
So you’ve heard of women’s lib
Have you heard of…not wanting a particular hamburger if not seeing or hearing of it on a commercial?
Not a single person on this earth ever had 100% choice especially in this social networking age.
In fact LOVE, a necessary, was given to you before you can outright deny your maker and “chose your own way” and devices.

      Psalm 10:2 KJV
The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.

      Proverbs 16:9 KJV
A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.

      Jeremiah 10:23 KJV
O Lord , I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

      John 5:30 KJV
I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

      Romans 6:6 KJV
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him , that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
(6th book, 6th chapter, 6th verse, 6th word [of new testament] = man, and relating to the English alphabet 6 [Hebrew = incomplete, French = sex] =F, 12 [aka one to] =L [aka wall, which happens to equal in value this method 6×4], 18 [aka "one ate", to not deny the flesh, aka law, as to live and die in a natural sense] =R, & 24 [aka "to for", to be concerned with everyone, not our self or "team", to allow the striker to strike again knowing "God is in control", or don't waste your breath on prayer] =X…aka unicorn, or:

The kingdom of God is given not taken, don’t strike a man and claim it was for his own benefit or that you both play for the same team (as Moses, AKA the law, struck a man and killed him, and as the bible says to strike a man is to kill him).

    • Mike

      Oh…BTW
is it so damn important for you to suggest “birth control” is always going to be a part of a woman’s life? (like a goddamned commercial, do they pay you every time you talk about “birth control?) You project a male macho coy important attitude that makes it impossible for children to visit the female wing of a prison.
      BRAVO!!!

      • lois

Mike, without birth control women have 3 choices. 1. flush the fetus 2. Being called Mommy or 3. abstain from sex altogether. Maybe if more men would own up and take responsibility we could eliminate 1 and 3.

        • Mike

You are worth as much as your option #1. Fitting and sick is your reply reminding us all not to talk to the strangers, the aliens of this world. Because why take your ignorance out on your OWN child? Sure it reminds us all people can be so damned selfish and so damned stupid they can and will do as they are told sacrificing to the false god molech fully & fooly thinking it’s about choice or respect or could be in any form about dignity or freedom. Glossing over the eugenic history of your “if it feels good do it” nature to which most of us “humans” (who can at least show the tiniest and best of ourselves a shred of “humanity” or at least the slight right to be born and adopted). You are not of this world stranger, please don’t reply. But if you must, first consider other options as 1) exercise your demonic hate of self you must as a black sheep fall off that cliff with others to blinded by the ignorance of you “doing right” by yourself (if only it could be possible) will tumble off behind you. 2) keep busy since you aren’t family material. Likely in this environment, don’t you have any girlfriends? Who are not so damned selfish to push ignorant philosophies on you like “(God will give me a child later) I don’t want to be burdened with anything (but sex, unlike commitment, & certainly not like motherhood, is more fun than “doing the right thing” and certainly it id great to be revered as a goddess, if only for the night, it’s not like it’s as difficult as a goddess as in motherhood. And finally, all my friends act shitty so I could still be the cream of the crop. The cream rises to the surface (I will tomorrow, I will play harlot tonight and can respect myself myself tomorrow, my husband to be will respect me I can count my lovers on one, two hands…and my toes) the scum rises to the surface as well. There is nothing wrong with the God of our forefathers in America. Jesus loves the little children. Don’t think you can’t turn it around today. It’s not knowledge most seek (in ignorance) but to forget. Eugenics and psychology in America are selling everything not just the hamburger you want (but didn’t until the carefully meaned and crafted and placed likely with sound or lack of sound to attract). Please do not reply stranger, you have already lost despite your friends “carrying you home” as a river…to a waterfall. I’ve better things to do than pretend to play your maker, keeper, lover, & friend.

          • ManxMamma

Eugenics has nothing to do with ‘if it feels good, do it’. Your writing is hateful and uninformed. God help you.

Next time all you have to say in a single sentence with multiple insults to your audience (not counting the trolls who want to distract and keep us on topic and likely have more than one account here like they vote and practice fascism and think they are good people ESPECIALLY if they don’t get caught by anyone other than their criminals who might let it go) learn to spell.

Sorry Bristol I would like to address replies to the article here (as far as I could take reading it):

How To Convince A Girl To Get An Abortion

-Or to be efficient consider and build on the CIA mk-ultra experiences that have already been done in this area so powerful to make a person “kill their best friend”.

            By bacon

-Hey I love REAL bacon, have been attributed to being bacon, can identify with bacon scripturally, and often add bacon. So I will call you bacon bits…

Let’s face it: sexually active people have accidents.

Idiot. Don’t attack honesty while claiming we don’t make mistakes. The problem could be when you make a mistake you confer with your pea sized brain (and not G-is-us; I must speak slowly so we can understand each other) and would likely be offended if we didn’t seek out your advice.

            Shit happens, that’s life.

Yes it’s been explained to me your understanding of life by one of your comrads (that it should be flushed down the toilet). But why go “back” to the retard that got you into this mess?

But we know that men have no reproductive rights in opting out of a being a parent.

Uhhh…men do have all the faculties of reproductive rights. You are confusing men with unics I think.

With only two birth control options available to men (a condom and a vasectomy) the words you use to get your girl off the fence about having an abortion must be well thought out.

First of all you have plenty more options. I figured I’d give you three but you especially remind me of this first of four. I could remove your penis and it won’t waste anymore of mine or anyone else’s time.
You could be a man and get married and have kids! Like a normal man? Did that occur to you? To act like a man? I didn’t think so…
You could try to join the military. You could get a woman that way. Probably you would use the term “ass”? Or “girl”? They might allow you to join since “ask not tell” is gone. But you are obviously too pathetic to earn the right of the front line. I had hoped they would grant you honor and dispatch you permanently. I am sure they would have done it quickly.
Yes a fourth. Are you sure you are qualified to “take on the role” of “man”? Dedication? Commitment? Honor? Sacrifice? Likely you have heard of some of these words. I was going to mention your dad but sorry to say I doubt you had a strong male role in your life to teach you how to justify your own existence without making others around you completely miserable in the end. Bastards are a totally acceptable “breed” these days. But don’t come around me and my own, please.
Your statement could be replied with the Chinese proverb “Stop thinking! And end your problems” except, troll blogger, you are spreading your disease, this disease and also need to end our problems by shutting up. Or how about a cup of shut the hell up?

          • Richard Smit

i am only defending bristol and Sarah on this post!

          • Mike

Haha truly truly sorry. I am a prophet and forgot I am not on the “pro” side of this argument. I did invent the flip flop but that’s beside the point. A much used defense, as even us being saved by Christ being beat dumb…just because Gods people are destroyed for ignorance, and just because it’s often claimed “knowledge is power” (though no-man can save his own soul) I contend “only knowledge that teaches me to be dead to self” is useful to the crucified. Might I need to mention that lust of Wisdom destroyed the human race’s innocence and destroyed us all in one fell swoop. The longest excuse I hope you ever get for stupidity, hope you can forgive me. ♡

          • Mike

And sorry for the spelling “fell blow” to my own teammate. I had understood at first it was great to have A SINGLE FRIEND POSTING but felt forced to prove I was not yet dead. Thanks for being on a winning team with two we can take 10,000.

Pointing calling me a hater? Keep that leaking thing away from me please.

            Quote a letter:
Why does the CIA and so called defense department manage to justify an argument of terrorizing most all Americans while screaming “Terrorism!” or pointing while screaming “Terrorist!” apparently the only job they have.60% of all the years taxes & running the good drugs cocaine etc while/to/for keeping them illegal & seizing assets of drug dealers who will be sodomized the rest of their whole short miserable lives. And huge kickbacks for the money from: real doctors keeping people sick, quacks prescribing drugs to the well people who will never be deemed well again. And drug companies selling cures worse than the disease, as well as keeping us torturing Americans as nicolations or necromancers equivalent to worshipping the dead including keeping us energy starved, and dependant on fossil fuel used to sponser a more justified terrorism against us. Congress is insider trading, pillaging, looting, selling good drugs & making us take drugs the that are killing us (RIVERS of dirty money while we are kept sick starved and dead). Don’t expect big government to do more than throw a bone @ your wife or daughter to stop this, and since the CIA & offensive Defense Dept sponser all the US terrorism to justify their jobs it’s a circular argument. As in @ or about 0:40 – 2:40 in this clip

(Almost all the county’s yearly tax goes to killing us in masses. The rest going to making lots of money [easy to do with money] which will be used to kill us or to make even more money.)

        • Tom Dane

Maybe if young women would give their best years for that task they would probably have more success in finding someone who “owns up”..as it is, they ride the cock caurosel acting like spoiled teenagers until pretty damn old, then trick some poor sap into marriage and kids.
After a few years they get divorce and blame it all on the man, because he “coudlnt man up”. Just like you do now.

      • lois

Sorry to bust your bubble, Richard, but I adore and love Sarah. People can and do disagree without being disagreeable. We are all a product of our environment, and a kid raised in a loving family will have a different opinion than a kid raised in a dysfunctional family. A different opinion does NOT mean they can’t be friends, and have respect for each other. Bristol is an amazing young lady, like her Mom and has class. Your crystal ball is broken, I’m NOT a liberal. Pitiful you need to wear your hatred and publicly spread it.

        • Richard Smit

Sarah Palin palin is not agressive ore angry! it are you liberals who are agressive against her!

          • ratamacue76

Speaking of aggressive (which you misspelled, by the way … since you wanted to get on my grammar earlier), angry and bitter it seems that your comments display all of those quality. Seems someone is projecting.

          • Tom Dane

I didnt correct ur spelling. I never do that, thats for smallminded people.
And damn straight im aggressive. But difference is im right, your wrong :) slut

          • ratamacue76

Now you’re just being a dîck for the sake of being a dîck. Besides I never said you corrected my spelling.

While I don’t frequent feminist blogs, I can tell you that most feminists would find this article abhorrent. From the ReturnOfKings Twitter page, it *does* appear that they received significant feminist backlash from the article (https://twitter.com/ReturnOfKings/status/372858579361234944 and https://twitter.com/ReturnOfKings/status/372858876976447488 ). Furthermore, it didn’t take long for me to find feminist groups who oppose reproductive coercion in *all* its forms, from opposition to “one-child” policies (http://www.womensrightswithoutfrontiers.org/ ) to deceptive sterilization programs (http://www.feminist.com/resources/ourbodies/abortion.html , scroll down to “Reproductive Freedom vs. Population Control”). I’m kind of disappointed that you didn’t bother to see if your closing allegation was true. You are using the horribleness of this misogynist website as ammo against a cause which would also condemn it.

Full stance disclosure: I think abortion is morally problematic. I also think it’s morally problematic to present the possibility of coercion as an argument against choice. Of course, if we eliminate all choices, no one will ever have to be coerced (as this great satirical piece makes clear: http://slatestarcodex.com/2013/08/25/fake-consensualism/ ). You’d be right in thinking that’s absurd though, which is why I wonder you think male coercion is an argument against “keep[ing] abortion dreams alive.” Coercion is absolutely something that should be eliminated, but eliminating coercion by eliminating choice is like amputating a broken leg. If you think abortion is an illegitimate choice that no one should have the right to make, stick to the ethical arguments. And if you’re really concerned about coercion, know that this is a *separate* concern from the legality of abortion.

Sarah and bristol are right about abortion! and they are wonderful people!

  • Erik

Glad my son’s mother never aborted him, even though he was a result of a one-night stand. Though it was a scary situation when I found out what happened over 2 years after last seeing the mother, I must say taking it upon myself to find out was one of the best choices I’ve ever made and now I’m very happy to have my 8 yr. old son in my life.

OMG! The part about buying a “negative” HIV test is pathetic! “Don’t forget to check out our syphilis upgrade combo.” Seriously? This is allowed? It’s like a terrorist act against others using a deadly virus. Someone needs to STOP this.

    • Charles Vermont

I took the “negative HIV test” piece to be a rather modest proposal, but perhaps that’s just me.

  • Mac Daknife

But tricking guys into fatherhood has always been perfectly acceptable!

“Escaping consequences of bad behavior”, indeed.

    • tu_ne_cede_malis

Bristol has a history of bad decisions so her blog has no moral authority.

      • GCBill

Please do not commit the genetic fallacy. Besides, it’s possible to refute her positions without reference to her poor decisions.

        • tu_ne_cede_malis

It’s better to just ignore her blog. One could spend every waking minute refuting the groupthink and drivel of empty-headed hypocrites, but I would rather not spend my life this way.

          • ratamacue76

“It’s better to just ignore her blog.”

Being that you obviously read the blog and have seeded comments here and there on this board it’s clear that you can’t even follow your own advice and are a willing participant in the very hypocrisy you speak of. That pretty much brings the credibility of any argument you may present on this board to zero.

On many topics regarding poor decisions the best authority is actually a person who has made a bad choice, dealt with the consequences, and has something to share about their experience. That doesn’t make someone a hypocrite, that makes someone human. People live and learn from their mistakes and are free to share what they want to about their experiences along with their thoughts on the overall topic. If you don’t like it then take your own advice and ignore this blog. Otherwise, continue to be a hypocrite by not practicing the boundaries that you set and advise others to follow.

          • tu_ne_cede_malis

First article I have read on this blog. Last article I will read on this blog. Happy?

          • ratamacue76

Don’t let the door hit ya, where the good Lord split ya.

          • Tom Dane

He said the best thing WOULD be to ignore the blog. WOULD.

      • Richard Smit

No she is not , she is a wonderful person!
