It’s a wonder they were still able to dance, it was so big a shock!
Kya and Matt had already been through a lot leading up to their wedding. Kya’s mom had sadly taken her own life, and the couple was struggling to save up enough money for a wedding. A local radio station heard their story and gave them a $60,000 wedding for free. But the surprises weren’t over yet.
At the reception, one of the DJs from the station announced they asked a special guest to sing for the first dance. Guess who walked through the door?
Ed Sheeran walked to the stage and said, “Hello. Happy wedding day”!
They had picked his song “Thinking Out Loud” for their first dance, and they got to hear it live and in person.
What a fun start to their life together!
