What Made this Gatorade Ad Go Viral?

Elena Delle Donne is a WNBA All-Star. She just finished Top 4 in MVP voting a couple days ago, but she’s a winner for entirely different reasons.

Her story is one that many people with special needs siblings and family members can understand. Her life has never been normal, but that’s because her life is better.

Elena’s sister Lizze can’t hear and she doesn’t see. But for this world class athlete, her sister, who many in the world would say has severe limitations, is the source of all her strength.

Lizzie gives Elena perspective. And has changed her whole life. Elena even turned down the greatest college basketball program in history – the women’s UConn team – to be closer to her sister.

And now, thanks to a Gatorade ad and being signed by the Chicago WNBA team, their story has gone viral.
