Why are Canadians so nice?

IJR has the scoop:

The National Hockey League (NHL) stands out among American professional sports because, since several of the member teams actually hail from Canada, the “Star Spangled Banner” is not always the only anthem that is played.

Just such a situation arose on April 30, when the Anaheim Ducks traveled to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, for the third game of their Stanley Cup playoff series.

Brett Kissel, a Canadian country singer, stepped up to the microphone to sing the American anthem, but as luck would have it, something went wrong with the sound. Kissel, unperturbed, stepped back from the microphone and raised his arms, leading the Canadian crowd in song:
