Dear Media, here’s a newsflash: Women aren’t upset at compliments. Forbes reports on President Donald Trump’s recent visit to France.

While in France to honor Bastille Day and the 100 years since World War I, Trump made comments about the “shape” of Macron’s wife Brigitte Macron, who was also a former teacher of literature at Paris’s prestigious lycée Saint-Louis de Gonzague.

When President Trump went to France, he got the chance to meet the First Lady of France.  When he met her, he complimented her. “You’re in such good shape,” he said.  Then, he said to her husband, “She’s in such good physical shape.”

That is not weird or odd.  It’s nice.  But the media just can’t stop freaking out over the President. And apparently, feminists hate it when men compliment women.

Watch the exchange here:

So, first the media freaks out over this.  Then, Reebok decides to criticize the President for his words:

Their graphic is supposed to give advice on “when is it appropriate to say, ‘You’re in such good shape…beautiful.’”

Here are the times when they say it’s NOT appropriate:

“Are you in an elevator with a woman.”

“Are you introducing yourself to your future mother-in-law?”

“Are you a world leader greeting the spouse of a head of state?”

Forbes continues:

It offers six situations, ranging from speaking to a woman in the gym or in line for coffee to serving as a world leader and greeting the spouse of a head of state. The only situation the chart labels the comment as appropriate for is, “Did you just find a forgotten action figure from your youth, unscathed after decades, in your parents’ basement.”

Well, isn’t that nice that a shoe company feels it needs to lecture the President?  Who else is getting sick of this?
