A prayer intention

Red has given me permission to post a request to our readers for your prayers.

You may have noticed Red and family were missing in the photos from the reunions post. The reason for this was due to the fact that Red’s son, Gus (3), has been sick with a GI illness over the past 3 weeks. He had an unfortunate flare up while the family was enjoying the P-rade Saturday afternoon and has since been in the hospital while the docs run a battery of tests to understand what is going on. They are finishing up the last round of tests tomorrow and we are praying for an end to Gus’ suffering and for strength for the whole family.

We ask our readers to join with us in lifting up dear Gus and family during this difficult time. We also ask for your prayers for a specific intention–tomorrow morning Gus will have a CT scan to rule out the possibility of a brain tumor. Please pray for a NEGATIVE test result.

We offer sincere thanks on behalf of Red and family for your prayers. God bless.
