New Beginnings

Lent is about new beginnings, right?  Well with the start of this Lenten season, Building Cathedrals will be moving!!!

After much thought and prayer among the Builders, we have decided to move our blog to the Patheos site.   At Patheos, we will be part of their new Faith and Family portal.  Our current buildingcathedrals.com site will simply redirect to the Patheos site, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to find us over there.  However, if you get our feed in a Google Reader, you will need to update your reader with our new address or else your feed will simply stop, which would be quite sad.  At present, I do not have the new address as the tech “people” at Patheos are working on moving our blog.  I’m sure there is a more technical term than “people” to describe their very important job, but I’m not tech savvy.  I will pass along the new address when we launch.  At present that will be on Monday, February 27th.

Thank you so much for reading.  Many of our readers have been regular contributors to our site for many years, and we are so thankful for your contributions!  Our blog is very discussion oriented, and your thoughts are always welcome and appreciated.  From our perspective, we hope and pray this move will give us the opportunity to reach a larger audience.  We will be blogging about the same things, and the blog will have the same flavor, so don’t worry that the Building Cathedrals the Builders love (and hopefully you do too!), will be changing in any significant way.  You will all be welcome to visit us over there, to comment, and to add to our blog with your wonderful thoughts, advice, and ideas.  And do stay tuned, because several of us will be revealing our true identities with the move…

Wow. u00a0Congratulations! u00a0I just clicked over to the new site, and I was dismayed by all of the advertising. u00a0It strikes me as ugly and busy, especially since this site is so calm and peaceful, with stained glass and the chapel photo. u00a0But I’m sure that you’ve thought this all through, so I’m looking forward to seeing what the benefits of the new site are.

Congratulations with the move.u00a0nnSince you mentioned that some true identities will be revealed, I have a question from the old posts. I started reading/following Building Cathedrals in April 2011. I decided to read all of the posts from the beginning – Jan 2008. One thing keeps me quite confused on the older posts – who is Sullijo? This BC blogger is with you from the start then somewhere in 2010 the name no longer appears. When I read the posts – sometimes it reads if it Juris Mater posting, other times Texas Mommy and other times AWOL mommy. So – to help me sort out my confusion – could you tell me who is sullijo?u00a0nnThanks.u00a0
