Staying Safe in the Summer Sun

We have been spending a lot of time out in the sun this summer, and this means that we have had to be extra careful about protecting our skin from those potentially-harmful rays. Our routine includes using a good quality sunblock on our bodies and a sunblock stick on our faces, making sure that we apply extra to our shoulders, nose, and ears, which are all susceptible to getting burned. They Teach Us, Too

  I'm having so much fun learning how to french braid over here in our corner of the world, and thanks to my patient 4 year-old, I'm getting lots of practice! I'll admit that my technique is still far from perfect, and I'm certainly not a natural, but it has been fun to learn something new and to see improvement with practice. Monday was a pretty crazy summer day in our household. I'll let the pictures do most of the talking, but let's just say that one minor catastrophe followed another.
