Steve King: “Same Sex Marriage Is A Totally Socialist Concept”

I don’t know why he stopped there with calling same sex marriage a socialist concept when he could have gone on to add that it’s also a terrorist, big labor, tree-hugger, communist, Nazi, feminazi, reverse-racist, atheist, gun-banning, “blame-America-first” concept too.  I mean, as long as you have no single reason to offer for the actual supposed danger of same-sex marriage (and throughout 5 minutes of baseless slippery slope arguments, warnings of unspecified dangerous consequences, and morally irrelevant appeals to tradition, he indeed does offer not one single reason to suppose there is any danger from same-sex marriage that would convince anyone who was not already prejudiced against it), why not just throw in all your baseless scare tactics for frightening the fundamentalist right-wing and make for one giant bogeyman instead of several smaller ones?  They all threaten your utopia of a wholesome repressive theocracy which protects the wealthy from social responsibility, the ignorant from facts, and the racists, sexists, and homophobes from tolerance.  So, why not just lump them all together in one great big interrelated “concept”?  I don’t get it, Representative King, do you want to let the terrorist, big labor, tree-hugger, communist, Nazi, feminazi, reverse-racist, atheist, gun-banning, “blame-America-first”, socialist gays win or something?  You’re not secretly a terrorist, big labor, tree-hugger, communist, Nazi, feminazi, reverse-racist, atheist, gun-banning, “blame-America-first”, socialist gay man too then, are you???

Your Thoughts?  Is Steve King a secret terrorist, big labor, tree-hugger, communist, Nazi, feminazi, reverse-racist, atheist, gun-banning, “blame-America-first”, socialist gay man?
