“Spirituality” is now available!

Spirituality by Carl McColmanThe new printing of Spirituality: A Postmodern and Interfaith Approach to Cultivating a Relationship with God is now available. Not only does this latest issue of my first book feature a snappy new subtitle, it also contains a new introduction and a new cover, featuring photography by my wife, Fran McColman.

Since, like every other author who is not yet a household name, I’m also a part-time monger of my own books, you can order a copy directly from me using Paypal. Just click on the link and follow the instructions. Please note that if you buy directly from me, I’m charging the same price as Amazon, inclusive of shipping (for media mail rates in the USA); also, you’ll get your book autographed and/or inscribed if you’d like. Click here to buy a copy of Spirituality directly from me.

If for some reason you’d rather deal with Amazon (i.e., you live outside the USA, you don’t trust Paypal, you don’t trust me, or you’re trying to amass points on your Amazon credit card), that option is available too. Click here to buy the book from Amazon. Just remember, you’re not saving yourself any money and you don’t get an autograph.

If you’d like to order the book through your local bookstore, that would be a good thing, too. Be sure to ask them to order at least two copies: one for you, and the other(s) to put on their shelves. Just tell them the ISBN is 978-0-9792451-9-0 and that the book can be ordered through Ingram or Baker & Taylor (the two largest book distributors in the USA, one of which your local store most assuredly does business with).

Thanks, and happy reading!

    Hi there Carl

I have just ordered your book .

I thought you might find this interesting as far as sales and distribution:

I live in Cape Town, South Africa so I have to order through Amazon UK as Amazon.com does not deliver to South Africa. Amazon UK does not have stock but one of the listed siuppliers did. So I ordered the book from The Book Depository via Amazon UK for British Pounds 5.59 and the delivery cost to Cape Town is British Pounds 7.00. So the full price is British Pounds 12.59. It will arrive in 10 days, all going well.

I look forward to reading it.

Ned, you’re already way beyond what this book has to say. But if you want to take a look at it out of kindness to me, I’d be honored.

    Hi Carl,

It has been several years since we have spoken, however I heard you are writing a new
book on esoteric Christianity. I am happy to hear that and wonder where are those of us who have that interest in common?

I have been on a large learning curve since we last spoke and have still not finalized a book. Alas, what you taught me in your writing workshops has not yet come to fruition. I have been studying by correspondence with a school in the Western Mystery tradition.

There are many questions I would like to ask about the spiritual journey you have taken since you returned to the faith. I have not been able to find a church which is satisfying to me, I would like to begin teaching pieces of ageless wisdom and yet
I find it frustrating in Atlanta to find a place that might welcome what I have to offer. It seems most metaphysical places specialize in the “quick fix” to spirituality and are not too interested in presenting something deeper. Cedar Hill is still a beautiful spot, yet the economy has been hard on their programming and they are not yet ready for
the more “heretical” parts of Christian esotericism.

    Best wishes to you,
