Quote for the Day

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

What is this mirror? isn’t it the Gospel of Christ – the Truth of God’s love despite our sins, as revealed in the sufferings of Christ on the cross. What is this glory? What is more wonderful, more good and glorious than Love? How are we transformed by just looking? Isn’t it the power of love operating on our humbled and willing hearts, our fervent and trusting hearts, making us like Him . . . from love to love to love? This work of love is miraculous – something only God can do but, oh how desperately He wants!
