    The divine-human carpenter knew and loved all kinds and different cuts of wood before he met the wood of the cross. And he knew what was in a man – before he turned the church over to man.

    I think Jesus must have seen the failing, misunderstanding church of our day reflected in the eyes and manners of the Jewish leaders of his own day. Like he saw the cross from Caesarea Philippi (Mk 8:27ff).
