Berlin cardinal transferred to Germany’s largest archdiocese

Cologne, Germany, Jul 15, 2014 / 12:08 am (CNA/EWTN News).- Cardinal Rainer Maria Woelki has been appointed Archbishop of Cologne, the Vatican announced July 11. The Cologne archdiocese has some 2 million faithful, the largest number of Catholics in any German diocese. Opus Dei to display remains of Bishop del Portillo after beatification
