The Relativity of Soccer Strategy

Strategy or poor taste? Our Italian friends find a way to accomplish both. Be sure to note the relativisitic tone of the participants! Here are the real questions; First, did anyone injure a knee in the process? And second, can David Dunham really give us insight into the mentality of a sport that encourages this sort of thing?

The Catholic Church is a private organization and these hospitals are private. Wouldn't this law violate the First Amendment rights of the hospitals? Perhaps they should take this to the courts.

And doesn't the Catholic Church believe that civil disobedience is also morally unacceptable? or does it make exceptions?

There may be a first amendment argument. The hospital system I work with is really the only thing that the Sister’s do; it is how they practice their Catholicism. But is seems to me that the best strategy would be to disobey the law and then raise that as a defense to any sort of enforcement efforts.

This presents a pretty clear case of when of we must obey God and not man.

In addition to legislators and the current soiler of the Oval Office, those to be indicted and tried for murder-by-abortion genocide in the advocated Nuremberg-type trial should include, the Board of Directors and administrative staff of hospitals that perform abortions.

The prescience of "Modern Fascism" (No flattery intended to the author) informs what to expect here, one way or the other. The rubber is fixin' to meet the road, and Christians will have the opportunity to bear witness to their convictions with their actions. Perhaps it is time to start counting the cost.

Amen, Dan. There is a great silver lining to Obama and his people raising the bar in what appears to be their favor. Methinks they misread the moral determination of some slumbering mass of the people. God bless the Catholic Church for its continued public stance–perhaps the strongest bloc there is–against abortion.

Civil disobedience is both honorable and godly. "We ought to obey God rather than man."

"FOCA defined abortion as a “fundamental right” that no government can “deny” or “interfere with.” "

Can anyone explain the reasoning, philosophical, or otherwise behind this statement? If they believe this, same for the "right to homosexual marriage", this will be the equivalent of a religious war since neither side can back down.
