Nadia Comaneci (1976) vs. Simone Biles (2016)

Gymnastics has changed considerably over the last 40 years! Some of you may remember watching Nadia’s amazing perfect 10 back in 1976 (gymnastics scoring has changed a lot since then as well…).

But how well would Nadia stack up to the more modern gymnasts?

Let’s find out.

During the Olympic Trials 2016, Day 1, Simone Biles performs this routine and receives the score of 15.700.

Though it wasn’t a “perfect score” like Nadia achieved, it was a fantastic score (under a newly developed system) that reflects the level of physical ability it requires.
