Natural Cleaners: Disinfectant

Use a mixture of equal parts hydrogen peroxide and vinegar.

Works on mold, fungus and mildew.

    It is actually a pretty good general purpose cleaner as well, and since I can get big bottles of both at the local dollar store, rather cheap as well. And the vinegar smell is about the same the ammonia or bleach smells that you find in most commercial cleaners, and dissipates a lot faster as well. I saves one of the old cleaner's spray bottles (thoroughly cleaned to avoid reactions) and keep a batch in there for easy clean-up.

    1 tsp of Tea Tree Oil to a cup of water works well also. Kills mold and will help to keep it from coming back. Clove Oil will do the same.

    Wow! my last post on my blog was on using this same mixture to clean my stove top! great minds think alike I guess:)
