Guest Blog from Witch at Heart

My brother in law has some family cabins in the mountains of West Virginia. My husband, myself and my brother in law go up there a few times a year. We have always felt comfortable there but during one of the trips there I did not feel comfortable there at all. We had arrived late at night over a 4th of July weekend. We had a strange visitor stop by while we were there, he left very late in the morning, we finally went to sleep but sleep did not find me that night, I tossed and turned and lay there in the darkness starring at the kitchen window when all of a sudden there appeared 2 balls of light in the window, the whole kitchen window lite up, I felt scared at what I was seeing and to be honest I was shocked as to what I was seeing, I tried to wake up my husband but he was out like a light. I whispered as loud as I could whisper to my brother in law. I told him to look at the kitchen window and I said , ” are you seeing what I am seeing? His reply, ” Yes” we went back and forth saying  ”what the heck is that?”. We were both too scared to get up and get a closer look and also we were afraid if we got up the lights would go away. These balls of light were going in a circular motion intertwining with each other. I had a 35 mm camera at the time but I could not get it to work in the pitch black. I do not know how much time had passed but it seemed like a really long time. The cabin sits on block and is very high off the ground, the kitchen window is over 10 feet high so there was no way anyone could have been able to reach it unless they had a huge ladder. We tried to debunk it by getting a flash light and moved the flash light around in a circular motion towards the window and the effect was completely different than what we had seen.

The next night my husband and I were out front, he was lying on a blanket looking at the stars, I was sitting the opposite way and I saw  smaller balls of light in the woods. They were white but one was a different color. I kept telling my husband to turn around and look but he refused. He doesnt believe in that sort of thing and if he looked and saw what I saw then it would have changed his whole perception of things. The one that was a different color seemed to be coming right towards me, I jumped up and ran into the cabin. 

In 2009 while we were at the cabin we did not see anymore balls of light but I did get some photos of what I feel to be orbs of light at a very old cemetary that is about 5 min drive away on 4 wheelers. I stood in different locations of the cemetary and took 2 photos from each location. One photo will show nothing and the next it had those white spots. I cleaned my digital camera lens before , during and after each shot.
