On the 16th Day of Halloween…2

On the 16th Day of Halloween Mrs. B. Gave to Me…

this amazing

pentagram necklace

from Starrlight Jewelry!

From the artist:

This necklace is composed of a ( nickel and lead free) pewter pentagram pendent that I embellished with swarovski crystal flat backs and hung on a hand strung silver and crystal beaded chain. Wicca is often represented as dark and gothic, so I delighted in making this light and sparkly piece.

Necklace length is 20″. pendent is slight over 1″ round.

What a gorgeous piece! This is one of the few pieces that I have in my possession for shipping, and the picture, as gorgeous as it is, doesn’t do it justice! This is truly a beautiful necklace.

For a chance to win this necklace, leave a comment to this post, sharing something about your most worn piece of jewelry. One entry per person, please. 1. Mama Kelly says:

My most worn piece of jewelry was my wedding ring until I gained so much weight that it no longer fits. Typically I do not wear jewelry at all unless I am “dressing” for an outing or occassion. But, this necklace, if I was so lucky to win, would certainly make an exception.

  2. DAWN says:

I have an “evil” eye that I wear with my Om symbol. It was given to me when I was 3 and living in Turkey by a lady who said it would protect me from harm.

  3. Spirit says:

I have a tribal symbol that I got in salem mass. I wear that all the time as a necklace. I also wear a silver spinner ring and my wedding ring almost every day.

  4. nancy says:

I have a bone carved goddess that I always wear. My other most worn peace of jewellery is a gold heart that I had made after my mom passed away last year. I used my parents wedding rings ( my father is dead as well) to have to hearts ade, one for me and one for my sisters. One one side are my parents initials, on the other side or ours.nancygerritzen@gmail.com

  5. Funny … though I have several pieces, I don’t really wear much jewelry. Even my wedding ring. I hand drum almost daily so I just don’t bother putting my rings on. I often wear one-or-a-few of my hand-spun cords … with one adorning a pendant .. could be the Good Health Goddess … Green Man … or, like now, my moonstone pendant.

  6. Moon Spirit says:

of course my wedding ring, but my favorite piece is the bracelet my brother made for me with moonstones, amethyst, and tanzanite. I wear it to all ceremonies and gatherings, and always during a fullmoon!themysticgardens@yahoo.com

  7. My most worn piece of jewellry, although I don’t consider it jewellry myself, is my watch. I’d be lost without it. OrionovaATgmailDOTcom

  8. Divaeva says:

ah yes, my most worn piece of jewelry would have to be my 3 tier diamond necklace my sweetheart gave me to represent our “past, present and future” – I rarely take it off.

  9. wenchamok says:

Right now, all I wear is my watch and a silver Goddess ring because I’m in clinicals to be an x-ray technologist and that’s all we’re permitted to wear. The Goddess is standing with arms upraised, and then they curve in over her head to make a heart. Another heart is in a gap between her legs. She’s just lovely. But when I’m not in clinicals, I usually also have on earrings and frequently a silver pentacle necklace or a silver sand dollar necklace (there’s a subtle pentagram for ya!),

  10. Aside from my wedding right, I have a Goddess ring and a pentagram ring that I always wear. My Goddess ring is a moon and a star that I wear on the index finger of my right hand. Although it doesn’t actually have a Goddess on it, that’s how I think of it.

  11. Angela says:

my most owrn peice of jewelry is my wedding band. We got celtic knot rings and its the Daonnan which means eternal love. Hubby picked them out and they are so gorgeous and perfect for us.

  12. I haven’t really been wearing one piece of jewelry regularly for about a month now. I used to wear my white gold hoop earrings 24/7, but that was only because my ears would react badly if I put anything but gold in them. I recently found out that issue has somehow resolved itself, so it has been an earring bonanza lately.

  13. Anonymous says:

I don’t actually have a pentagram to wear regularly. I had one but it disappeared in a move. This would be a great replacement!Christinegypsysorchid@gmail.com

  14. My most worn piece of jewelry (until the chain broke) is a pewter star with a black widow spider on top. The spider’s legs curve around so the star becomes a pentacle.Spider Lady

  15. Auntie Meme says:

Definitely my wedding ring. It has dolphins and seashells around it. Second most worn–watch.

  16. Mist says:

Like others here, my most worn piece of jewelry is my wedding ring. The other piece of jewelry that I wear consistently is a small peridot ring because it’s my birthstone and makes me happy. It’s GREEN. :)

  17. Jaspenelle says:

My engagement and wedding bands are my most worn of course (and then my silver pentacle.) I love my engagement ring, not a diamond in sight! It is a star sapphire (my favorite stone) set in a white gold ring.j-blogs[at]lapoh[dot]com

  18. Luna says:

I think my watch is my most worn piece of jewelry. It is so functional that I can’t even call it “jewelry!” An ex gave it to me, he was really in to watches. I like it cuz it lights up when you push a button. But I can’t figure out all the other buttons on it. All I care about is that I can SEE the time! That pent is beautiful!~Lunamoonwitch.luna@gmail.com

  19. Carlene says:

My engagment and wedding ring never come off! Although when I start to do pottery again, that might change. The other thing I always wear is a small silver decorated band (which is getting rather worn now) for protection. redpot@comcast.net

  20. Aelwyn says:

What a GORGEOUS necklace! Most worn jewelry….I wear three rings. Firstly is my Claddagh. It’s silver and my dad brought it back from Ireland. I wear it on my right ring finger, and plan to use it as my wedding band when the time comes.I also wear a ring my man gave me for our anniversary. The band is yellow gold, with a white gold heart encasing a small diamond. I wear that on my left ring finger. And on my left middle finger I wear my faery ring. It’s silver and shows a lovely faery surrounded by flowers. I bought it at St. Jacob’s (a Mennonite town). These rings are never taken off.

  21. How beautiful! My most worn pieces of jewelry are my wedding ring and engagement ring — though they’re a set, it’s the engagement ring that is truly special. It’s a three stone ring; the center stone is periwinkle in color and came to me from my Grandmother, who wore it all her life. The two outer stones are Moldavite, purchased raw by my husband, who then had them cut and polished by hand and set into the ring, which he designed. He also gave me one extra stone, which he’d gotten as raw stone and had cut and polished, which will be set into a necklace on our anniversary.goddessdawnie@yahoo.com

my most worn piece of jewelryis a ring that i was givin from mylove :D itsthis piece that is up for grabs is very gorgeous and would bea lovely addition to my collectionof pentagrams!!!

  23. mdjelder says:

What a lovely piece of adornment! It would be such a delightful companion to my favorite piece of jewelry, a lovely silver moon goddess on a silver chain. The artist who created her did not name her, but she is my personal Ishtar, and she lends me her strength, her sexuality, and her regal nature on a daily basis.Blessings to all!

  24. Tammie Lee says:

Lovely necklace!I think of jewelry as medicine. When I put something on it is support for that day. While traveling in New Zealand a few years ago I bought a gemstone that a couple had mined and had it cut- light pink to clear zircon. I carried it on me for two years as I traveled. Then had a friend make a pendant with it and 5 tiny pastel sapphires with white gold. Later I learned that zircon protects the traveler. I smiled. I wear this piece quite often.

  25. Jamie says:

Definitely my watch… it was a gift from my husband. Also, my substitute wedding band (my wedding band and engagement rings are too small now) which is thin silver ring with a tiny diamond inset in the middle – another gift from my husband. We want to get new rings but haven’t decided what we want yet.

  26. Purple Dusk says:

My most worn piece of jewelery has to be my amathyst ring given to me by my other half about 5 years ago. It’s still a special to me now as it was on the day he gave it to me! I’m still waiting for an engaement ring though lol

  28. CelticBuffy says:

My most worn item of jewelry is a black/silver Celtic cross. It’s funky and different and I love it.

  29. ELLIE says:

the most worn piece of jewelry I have is my name plate necklace – my aunt had it made for me because my name is spelled differently then what you would see (eleonor) and it was given to me when I was very young and to this day still wear it daily – my aunt has since past away but I know her spirit is with me – a most precious gift to me!thanks–Ellie

  30. Tori says:

That really is beautiful! My most worn piece of jewelry is my class ring. I am a senior in high school, and I got it in 10th grade. It never comes off unless the project I’m doing could damage it.

  31. mighty jo says:

i got my belly button pierced in 1992 when i was 22. i loved it. i had a curved barbell ring in it–so there were studs on each end of the ring. occasionally, a stud would come loose & the ring would fall out–& then i'd lose my mind looking for it. i found it every time. eventually i super glued the studs onto the ring. but in the fall of 2002–almost exactly 10 years after i'd gotten the ring, i lost it while power walking. my boyfriend/husband-to-be didn't like my belly button ring & the relationship was still new enough that i cared what he thought, so i let it go. but as soon as i get rid of my baby belly, im gonna get it repierced–i just have to find a new piece of jewelry i loved as much as that ring.

  32. Love. Just Love. This is a beautiful peice, I’ve work with swarovski before, and this looks great. FaeWiccamoms.com

  33. Dyane says:

Other than the obvious, which would be my wedding set, I wear my tiny, silver pentacle earrings (my best friend has a matching pair). We had them made for us one year at our renaissance faire. The other one that I wear a lot is a silver medallion that has a fox stamped on one side & a Celtic pentacle on the other.I'd love to have this to wear to circle, I think it's just beautiful :)

  34. wyrd-rowyne says:

I have a pentacle from Dryad Designs. Paul Borda rocks…and I just got to meet him. It is the tree of life behind the pentacle. It hands off of a spirit cord I got from Rose.
