I’ve been working on all sorts of little projects since we created my little girl cave. I thought I’d share some of the art journal pages today (If you want to see what I’ve done before you can find them here and here.)
I started working on these pages a while back, and finally got them to a place that I liked, though there are still a couple of things I want to do with them.

This is a set of pages that I started in a new journal, which is going to have a certain theme. It’s kind of a secret for right now, but I’ll share more of where that journal is going later. These are way brighter and happier that what I usually do, lol! I really like the colors and the texturey feel of them.

I just started with this set. Not exactly sure where it will go to be finished. I found this little girl in a magazine, and added a piece of twine to the page for her jump rope.

This page started with a door. What could be behind it?

This:

I love the creepy factor to those! Obviously these pages have a ways to go before I’m done with them, but they make me giggle.
I’m just sick that way I guess.
More artiness to come later! I’ve been having a lot of fun in my cave!

Those are WONDERFUL!!!!!! Can't wait to see more
I love those first two black and white pages. Do you use some sort of white pen on a black background? Your lines are so clean it boggles my mind.I love the toothy girl jumping rope! I can't wait to see where that one goes.
Raptor Grrl rocks!
Indeed you HAVE been having a good ol creative time in the girl cave, love it!!
Thnaks for the kind words! On the first two, I used black gesso to cover the pages from an old children's book, and then I used a white gel pen for the drawing and lettering. I love gesso!I love my girl cave!
I love seeing these! All of them look wicked awesome. I wish I had the creative spark that you have.
I love that you are a wee bit morbid like myself!
those are GREAT!!! mrs b you are super talented… you have a very wicked sense of humor with a cool bite (pun intended LOL)
Love, love, LOVE the girl with the teeth! Marvelous!
I love your art work the girl made me laugh and laugh. You have some amazing details. Thanks for the birthday wishes. I am working on creative writing but I love to play with photos.
These are awesome pages! Not only do we all (so far) love them, but you're having fun creating! Win-Win!
Cave art!! Most excellent.
Love it! I love your artistic style! If you ever did prints, I'd buy them!
You know, I've never seen myself as artistic or talented, so I never thought I should give into my creative urges. After seeing all the people on blogs having so much fun creating, I just had to give into my urges, lol!I still don't consider myself talented, but man do I have fun with it!Every time I share, I start off cringing, afraid that people might scoff at my work. I have to remind myself that it's for the love of creating, not for the bragging rights or whatever.Anyone out there that wishes they could "do art", go for it! Have fun and play! I bet you'll love it!
That little girl has more than twine for a jumprope – he has fangs! Cool!
You are pretty creative and talented…even if you don't think so. You inspire me to let go and create…
