In the list of atheists who’ve noisily turned their backs on atheism, philosopher Antony Flew is near the top. I don’t question that Flew became a deist. What I question is how relevant his example is.

The Declaration of Independence—A Christian Document?

Many Christians like to point to the word “Creator” in the Declaration, but that word doesn’t mean what they think it does. In fact, the Declaration of Independence makes quite clear where the government’s power comes from, and it’s not God.
