When my wife and I were newlyweds, we lived for a year in an apartment on Kensington Avenue. It is close to both the old South High School (now part of Salt Lake Community College) and the elementary school where my grandfather was a crossing guard after his retirement. Maybe she knew my late father, who was just slightly younger than her. I suspect there are all sorts of connections among us that will be revealed as we come to learn more about each other.

Interesting. She may well have known your late father. If I get a chance, maybe after the stress and sorrows of this week, I’ll ask my father-in-law, who also lived on Kensington.

My sincere condolences to your family.
