I’ve just received the following from my friend Brian Hauglid, the (relatively) new director of the Laura F. Willes Center for Book of Mormon Studies within the Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship:


Two weeks in London? Reading the Book of Mormon?  Tough life.

Professor Hauglid tells me that the Willes Center and the Evans Chair (currently occupied by my friend Jim Faulconer) are the major sponsors, though the Maxwell Institute as such is handling this applications.
