“A stimulating month ahead”

 

Nauvoo, Illinois, just up the Mississippi from Keokuk, Iowa, on the opposite bank, as it appeared in the early 1840s. The still incomplete (first) Nauvoo Temple stands on the hill.

 

This week’s Thursday Deseret News column appeared in oddly truncated form.  I think I know why, but it was a mistake and I’m not particularly happy about it.  Nonetheless, the crucial information was still included:
