Reporter claims Omarosa physically intimidated her, but the whole thing was recorded February 17, 2017

There was a day when Democrats proudly identified as blue collar, tough as nails, not afraid to get their knuckles bloody tough. Today? Not so much. Today they’re weak and fold like a cheap suit if you as much as look at them wrong.

Truth Revolt has a hilarious story about an American Urban Radio reporter named April Ryan, who accused White House aide Omarosa Manigault of physical intimidation so bad that she thought about calling in the law enforcement.  The Washington Post also reports that she accused President Trump of keeping a dossier on each journalist to be used to — presumably — damage their reputations and hold power over them:

Ryan also said Manigault made verbal threats, including the assertion that Ryan was among several journalists on whom Trump officials had collected “dossiers” of negative information. Manigault, a onetime friend of Ryan’s, declined to address Ryan’s accusations on the record, offering only this emailed statement: “My comment: Fake news!” She did not specify what she considered false.

Of course, they’d accuse Omarosa of violence.  Why are journalists so spreading false stereotypes about black people?

Powerline drops a bomb on the reporter, though, as it’s reporting that Manigault has a recording of the whole thing.  Are you telling me that a supposed altercation that happened in the middle of journalists actually got recorded?  That is actually surprising.

“She came in with an attitude,”Manigault said.  “For her to characterize me as the bully — I’m so glad we have this tape. . . because it’s ‘liar, liar, pants on fire.”

Paul Merengoff says that the reporter, who no doubt is freaking out over her deception, is now accusing Trump’s White House to be “Nixonian.”  Ha!  But Merengoff isn’t buying it:

The taping of a public disagreement is not in any sense Nixonian. If there’s a “Nixon” in this scenario, it is Ryan — if, in fact, a tape exposes her as dishonest.

During the campaign, there were reports that Ryan was taking money from the Clinton campaign to provide favorable coverage. Manigault, formerly Ryan’s friend (according to the Post), emailed her about this allegation.

There’s no doubt that Ryan fawned over Hillary during the campaign. However, she denies being paid by the campaign.

If Ryan is like many reporters, it required no payment for her to provide favorable coverage of Clinton. Now, it requires none for her to provide unfairly negative coverage of President Trump.

This is absolutely hilarious.  Have I mentioned that it’s going to be an entertaining four to eight years?
