William Binney, who worked at the highest levels of the NSA for thirty years, has blown the whistle on that agency and revealed that the federal government has copies of virtually every email you and I and everyone else has sent for the last few years. This shouldn’t be surprising. AT&T whistleblower Mark Klein revealed to the world that the technology to do this was installed in the building where he worked and there is certainly no reason to believe that it hasn’t been installed at other key choke points as well, to split off part of the signal and allow the government to collect every electronic communication of any kind.
